Lead Pastor - Dan Pritchett
Pastor Dan grew up as a "Missionary Kid," living with his parents in the Philippines for eleven years. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Grace College, a Master of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is married to Pam, and they have two married daughters, Jill and Jamie. Dan enjoys sports, especially racquetball, tennis and recently started pickle ball. Dan and Pam have been here at Valley Grace since 1986.
Church Ministries Pastor - Doug Courter
Pastor Doug was born in Toledo Ohio and grew up with two older sisters and a younger brother. He received his B. A. degree from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio and his Th.M from Grace Theological Seminary. Doug is married to Barb and they have four children: Karen, David, Kellyann, and Benjamin. Pastor Doug had served as an associate pastor for fourteen years and a senior pastor for fourteen years prior to coming to Valley Grace. Doug began his ministry at Valley Grace in 2011. He has many interests, but travel, golf and computers are his main hobbies. He also teaches Information Technology at Hagerstown Community College and Blue Ridge Community College.
Family Pastor - Jim Cabush
Pastor Jim grew up in Wisconsin and has one older brother. He earned his B. A. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Masters in Bible from Temple Baptist Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry in Bible in 2005 from Covington Theological Seminary in Rossville, Georgia. He is married to Tina and has two children, Caleb and Grace. Jim served in the North GA/Chattanooga TN area from 2000-2014 as an associate pastor and from 2014-2017 in Richland, WA as a Family and Education Pastor. He enjoys spending time in the Word of God, doing activities with his family and meeting new people. Pastor Jim began his ministry at Valley Grace in 2017.
Seniors Pastor - Ray Barger, Jr.
Pastor Ray grew up in Hagerstown. He did undergraduate work at Liberty Baptist College. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Studies from Antietam Bible College and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Antietam Biblical Seminary. He is married to Cindy. They have four daughters, Heather Reese, Holly Weaver, Heidi Poe, and Hilary Cooper; as well as three grandsons and two granddaughters. Ray is a Vietnam Veteran and retired from the Maryland Army National Guard in 2001 after 28 years of Army service. He enjoys music and travel with Cindy, and has been at Valley Grace since 1983.
Youth Pastoral Intern - Jacob Orlando
Jacob was born and raised at Valley Grace since 1996. He currently has a Certificate in Youth Ministry and is on track to have his Bachelors in Biblical Studies in 2022 from Eternity Bible College. Valley has provided him with opportunities to participate in the church’s drama and praise teams and to teach the youth group. He also is a big baseball fan and enjoys playing with the softball team in the summer. Outside of the church, Jacob joined the Air National Guard in his hometown of Martinsburg, WV right out of High School in 2015.
